Nautic Almata dreams green

The privileged location of Camping Nautic Almata, in the protected natural area of Aiguamolls de l'Empordà, is not only a privilege, but also a responsibility.

Preserving the environment we live in is everyone's obligation and at the campsite we try to promote this philosophy and we are incorporating the tools into our facilities that allow us to do so.

Light pollution. The light from all the streetlights that illuminate the campsite's streets is directed only at the area that must be illuminated, thus reducing light pollution.

Water consumption. The water control buttons on the taps of the camping sanitair blocks and fountains encourage strictly necessary water consumption.

Energy consumption. 135 solar panels have been installed - in the spaces that the campsite's surface allows - that generate 70kw, which represents more than 10% of the energy consumption during daylight hours. Electric vehicles also have their charging area in 6 parking spaces enabled for this. This project has been accepted within the framework of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU.

Noise pollution. Surrounded by a wide variety of birds, it is very important for the campsite to help preserve the space in the best possible conditions for this great fauna. Therefore, sonometry studies are carried out annually, managed by an independent company, in order to ensure that noise pollution is controlled, mainly during breeding periods.
